The mozilla 1.1 is a beta right? Have anybody experienced any bugs yet? I haven't.:D

Oh, no... found a bug, I think...

The typing cursor (that line " | ") is blinking too fast and too randomly...

or can I slow it down so that it looks normal?

Yes you should be able to slow that down.

hmm... still can't see a setting there... but it's nice that is works better with MS Outlook than IE 6 itself! =) It can open individual brower for each of the overclockers.com's link to the forum's posts.

hmmm....still can't slow that blinking...

Mozilla 1.1 Alpha is our bleeding edge alpha release which is meant to get wider testing for all the changes that happened on the trunk since we branched for Mozilla 1.0. See the release notes to find out what's new.

Mozilla 1.0 Released
We are pleased to announce the release of Mozilla 1.0, available for download now. Thanks to everyone who made this possible.

1.1 is an Alpha, which is better than a Beta, and should be bugless(ish!)

I haven't found one yet!

actually a true "Alpha" is what they are working on before the beta. typically the general public only see the beta. It's interesting that they released thier alpha version. unless Alpha is the name they have for the browser... umm

Mozilla 1.1 is in alpha. Don't use it unless you want to actively find bugs. I tried it and it crashed on me every time I visited slashdot.org, so I switched back to 1.0.

Don't use mozilla period, use opera with its superior page rendering (Gecko is very, very bad) and mouse gestures :D

right click - hold... then move left or right to go back or forward. saves you from having to go to the menu bar and push the buttons.

this is also a feature in MyIE (http://members.directvinternet.com/maxvla/myiede32.zip) which i use exclusively. now i hate surfing at school cause they use IE and it doesn't have mouse gestures.

I use both.....

I find both equally as easy to use, and have had no problems with either.....

Heh... I keep seeing people say "I don't use Mozilla because it doesn't have X feature" when the feature does in fact exist, they just didn't bother looking. Or maybe they haven't used 1.0, a LOT of features were added in 1.0.

The only feature missing for me is the ability to sort my bookmarks. Anyone figure out how to do this? I can go in the bookmark manager and sort, but it doesn't sort the list that appears in the menu.

I haven't found any errors other than yahoo (geocities) adds not loading corrently. I prefer 1.1a to 1.0. I liked the quick launch feature, but in 1.0 it didnt work right. When I would click on it the browser would maximize and then minimize again.

Compared Opera and Mozilla...

Found Opera have a huge annoying ad on top of the navigation bar.:(

I went back and use Mozilla instead.

MyIE the program i use is like opera without the ads and the fancy buttons. just the way i like it. :)

btw i like mozilla and i'd use it if i didn't have the program i use. the last mozilla version i tried (0.9x) wouldn't do the autoscroll thing when you push the web wheel and just move the mouse up and down to scroll, which is a definate minus.

I bought my copy of opera since I really like it. In numerous tests it has been proven to be the fastest browser, both in file transfers and page rendering. They have not had any memory leaks since the beta, which I can't say about mozilla. It also has mosue gestures for just about every function, so I have turned off the menu/status bars completely and now I practically have the entire screen for my use. It also has the best tabbed browsing I have ever seen, and it just works better for me.
