OMG this thing is about 2 1/2 feet maybe 3 feet tall and weighs 25 lbs easy. I don't know if i'm gonna keep it though awful big i was going for self contained water cooling and i think this is overkill :) well black has never been slimming gonna hook up an old psu to test her see if the lights are pretty and such :)

I got the big dragon too. I added 5 inches to its height. Now none of my watercooling setup is actually inside the case (except for tubes and block).
So, I dont think its size is overkill. Its just more space to be inventive with when ya mod.

I wish I'd bought one of those beasts, the extra few inches they have over my soho would've made allthe difference in the world. I had a hard time stuffing everything in. It's way cramped and way compromised. Gotta love all the chieftech cases, great looks, features, and rugged! If only they'd put a slide out mobo in the things, that would be perfection.

this thing has no need for a slide out MOBO tray i can open it up and get inside and screw the screws in or i could get my little sister to climb inside then i could close it on her and fit all my comp needs in it :)

Imagine the ever popular Antec 1030 or Chieftec Dragon or what not, stretch it vertically, add a couple 5 1/2" bays, and room up above the PSU to fit a small dog, and that's pretty much it. :D

Here's a picture anyway. (http://65.119.30.151/productimage/11-129-005-04.JPG)

That's the Antec one though, I couldn't find the Chieftec.

Big cases are nice, aren't they? I got a no-name case which looks exactly like that. There's some sharp edges, and it's far from a toolless case... but I'm working on that! :D

And at $60.00 the price was sooo right.

This case is nowhere near a cheap case (it might be inexpensive but it certainly not cheap). The quality is outstanding...I have a mid-tower from the same line and they are very well designed and built.

This is a link (http://www.directron.com/dx01bd.html) to it.

To me, something that big is just too bulky. I wouldn't want to set one of those on top of my desk. :p

Agreed. I wouldn't want to place this on my desk either... but it's not on the desk, it's sitting next to it. Even looks OK where it is.
