View Full Version : Cooling 1.4GHz with chipset cooler. HUH?

Today I strapped my chipset cooler on my tualatin PIII-s and found that it is keeping it stable through prime and sandra multimedia.

Here are the temps of it @ load.

I have some but my camera is not working. I assure you though that it kept it stable. It was even smaller than a greenie. It was about half the thickness of a greenie and black. I bought it after market at a local computer shop!

My volcano usually keeps the temps around 30 deg. C.

well I browsed www again lol and found this on Powerleap's site... looks they use about as flat HS now as Ol'Man's, but it's of copper.

Believe it or not you can run a P4 with absolutely nothing attached. Granted it throttles down, but it's pretty funny to see one keep running when you take the heatsink off.
