Ok, im looking for opinions on what do do here... Any and all are welcome :)

I've got a 1.6A, a stick of PC2700 DDR ram (noname), and a MSI 845 Ultra. AT this point i can only get to 2.24 Ghz before the system stops booting. Post fails and i get no video signal. (roughly around 144-148 fsb) I'm at a lose as to what i shoudl do. i can get it to 2.3 with a lot of restarting and luck, and everythign runs perfectly except for openGL games, they lock up instantly. I really dont know what to do at this point. Im thinking that maybe the AGP slot is being forced to go to fast. (yes/no?) Would you suggest i return this board and go look for a new mobo (if so PLZ suggest the best board out there.. US $100-120).

Currently at 2.24, in PC mark i get 2472 for CPU, 5016 for the memory, and 565 ( :( ) for the HDD. in 3dmark2k1 i get 7800 (Geforce 3 (no ti)).

Im really thinking i should get a new board, but i have to return this one ASAP to get my money back. As usual, any help would be extreamly appreciated, and i think you can all give great suggestions at this point. :eh?:

Ditch the board and the memory. Look at abit and epox. I've got an epox 4bda2+ which overclocks very well, but if your ram sux, you still wont get very far. Look at ram from corsair, mushkin and samsung....good luck!
