It's not your system, it's Rockstar Games' crap-tacular release. They know that there's issues w/ it, but they won't/can't fix it.

More memory and a better video card, but what oni says seems to be true. It runs like a dang blanged beta release!

Try pulling in the latest patch and see if that'll help. It helped me!

you have to get the patch from microsoft but they have a link at rockstar games support website yeah i had the problem too but i got the patch and now it works flawlessley

i read on gtaforums.com that if you turn off the sound you get much more FPS... i wouldnt know since i can play @ 1152x864x32 w/ 2xAA Max Details :D
