If anyone wants to compare 3DMark 2K1 or let me know if this score is any good go ahead.

3DMARK 2001 Score: 3311
NEW SCORE..........3351 (now I only need 49 more points).
Everything is air cooled.

I got 1600 3d marks running the benchmark in default settings. With the system in my signature. But i'm getting a GeForce 2 GTS in 2 days, so i will be able to compare my results to yours a bit better.

Anyone know of any good tweaks for AGP? My system is completely unstable in 3d apps while running the AGP at 4x. In order to get it stable in 3d, I had to back down to 2x AGP.

Where can I find information on what settings I should set in NvMax? I know a lot of what I need to set, but there are always those few that I'm not sure about.
BTW, I also found that my Creative DXR3 MPEG decoder card was killing my performance once I installed its drivers. 3dmark 2001 would go from 4200 (when DXR drivers were not installed) to 1200 (when they were installed). No biggy I guess since I don't use the thing anymore. Anyone else have problems with this dude? I think I'm going to make a good Ghost backup and try updating my drivers for it. The DXR and my Geforce don't share interrupts either. Kinda funky, eh?

make sure sideband is disabled in registry :)

Running Win2K. I'm using 12.00 nVidia drivers and got 2079 using Default Settings. I'm going to install the new Detonator3 12.41 drivers and I'll post that too just for kicks...
can anyone tell me a few things please? How come I can't perform these three tests??? Game 4 - Nature, Environment Bump Mapping, and Pixel Shader Speed. Is this right for my hardware? Should I be using Antialiasing (2,4) or not? I thought I had DirectX8.1, but my results read DirectX8.0 - where can I get 8.1? Win2k update doesn't get it...

Damn, I intalled the D3 12.41 drivers and got the same results: 2079. I tried to use antialising and it lowered my score, so I guess I don't mess with that... Somebody please help! Those 3 same tets were still N/A cuz of "No Hardware Support" what the heck is that? I thought this GeForce2 card had all the hardware support...??? This is frustrating. I know my CPU is my main bottleneck, but are these numbers right? Someone with a similar setup please post so I can feel better. hehehe Next month I'm getting the IWill KK266 + TBird 1Ghz. Screw it!

i get 3109 in 3dmark2001 with my geforce2 MX 32
o/c'ed at 200core/200 mem 12.41detonators and the via 4n1 servicepack 4.32 and a 105 mhz FSB x 10.5 on my duron

i got the EXACT caed and mine wont go over 225
and i got a FOP38 on my core

I get 5791 now in 3DMark2001 with the new detonator drivers on my Elsa GeForce 3 running at 200/460... i'll overclock it a bit tonight and see if i can get any higher...

3dmark2001 score: 1755! Not bad huh?
Tonight i will overclock it to 187, and repost, i will probably score in the low 1800's. Look at madonion.com and do a search for Duron's and voodoo3's. The highest score is 1880. im not too far away. The 1880 score was with a Duron @ like 1048 or something and the voodoo at like 200, so just compare, and my system is pretty good.
HAHAHA I love overclocking! I can't wait to test out my VooDoo3 with my 1ghz AXIA @ 1.4+(didn't get it yet)

Amedeo602, make sure you have installed the drivers for the AMD 760 Chipset. That was the big problem for me, I have a similar system, and it made the difference of about 3000 something 3D marks... hopefully that will help you. You can get the drivers by clicking below. Install the AGP miniport driver that matches your system and then try 3Dmarks again.

I gave it a shot and it didn't get my score out of the 33xx range (for 2k, didn't bother w/2k1)
So I put the Ali drivers in and I'm gonna try it when I get home from work (didn't have time before :( )

Just ran 3DMark2000 and 3DMark2001 with the system in my signature. No o/cing at all to the vid card, proc, or fsb. I'm getting a score of a little over 9100 in '2000 and a little over 5400 in '2001. I'm guessing this is ok? Any input on how I could improve the scores if they are low? I'm running the latest drivers that shipped with my vid card, but I'm thinking of going with the nVidia ref. drivers.

for the drivers, go to www.the-ctrl-alt-del.com and check out the latest drivers. try out a few and see which work best. i think the detonator 12.xx are best for geforce 3 cards. also, when you o/c the card, make sure that it is cooled well.

ya boss, I have the same ram same mobo...
my cpu is a 650
with my Gf 32 mb DDR I was getting 2000ish
I tossed a new radeon, and OCed to 718 mhz..
and now I get about 2700...
but if I leave mine at 650 my score is around 2500..
so yours seems pretty good to me
ok did some tweaking and got 2659.oc'd the card to 200/195.thats over 700 in tweaking.cool
