hey you should reduce the size of your sig before a mod does it for you. their is a guide in the FAQ's and guidelines. long sigs eat bandwidth and are a little annoying.

It's size 1, the smallest available.
I'm sure you already know, but just put [size=1] at the very start of your sig, and [ /size] at the end, obviously without the space in there.
yeah i know how... just didn't know what the default size was.
thanks for the info.

How do you even change the BIOS screen? I have XP and i know you can change the logon screen and the startup screen, but i have never heard of the BIOS screen wouldnt that actaully be stored on the chip and require you to flash it? I dont know maybe im just dumb.

pirate252 you quite right, to change it, you require to flash the bois of the motherboard. So far all the articles i have found take about changing the energy logo at the boot-up screen. Unfortunately the site i bookmarked is no longer there. Does anyone know of a site that has an article about changing the logo?
Thanks

get a asus a7v333 thay give you a program to do it with ;0) and some sample logo on the cd you have to look on the cd to get them ;) but id like some thing cool like the words "Overclocked XP" ;0)
One guide is here (http://www.virtual-hideout.net/guides/bios_logo_mods_part2/index.shtml) at Virtual Hideout.
Also, I believe he is at the maximum length for his sig, it's just that quotes are not allowed. Why did you put your whole system is a quote anyway?

There are two different types of BIOS logos. Both must be flashed into the BIOS chip. On most motherboards, when you boot up, there is a logo for "Energy Star Compliat" or some such. That can be modified, as shown at Virtual Hideout (see previous post). On some motherboards (QDI, Asus, some others) that will allow you to create your own 640x480 8-bit bitmap and load it into the BIOS to display upon boot up. It looks really slick. Unfortunantly, many motherboards do not support this (like mine). I have to just be happy with changing the Energy Star logo. :-)
