  • Water blocks have to be fitted with reference cards. It really is impossible to fit a reference block on a non reference card. The AXP is different. The memory and vrm heatsinks should be just fine, it concerns more with the cooler itself fitting. If it's too long towards the end with the video connections then you will have a problem. Make sure he doesn't have stacked DVI ports. Even on my card it interferes a little. It all about how close his GPU is the video ports.

    The AX Twin Turbo might be an alternative option. The GPU won't be hot enough to heat that thing up. Cheaper, smaller and will do the same job.
