Installed Vista x64, but it still only sees 3 GB, although cpu-z sees 4 GB...?

Here's an odd one, my mistake if this question has been answered elsewhere. I searched google and OCF and could not find a solution.

Today I received my Vista x64 disc in the mail, so I wiped the drive and installed it onto my E6600/975x system that has 4 GB of RAM. The BIOS and CPU-Z both see 4096 MB, however Vista x64 is only seeing 3 GB.

Does anybody have any ideas why I cannot access all 4 GB of RAM in Vista x64? Seeing only 3 GB makes the move to x64 completely pointless. Thanks in advance.

Make sure that any memory remapping feature in BIOS is checked off. Other than that, I don't know.

Edit:
for spelling

I'll check that right now, thanks!

EDIT: I checked the BIOS and "memory hole remapping" was disabled, so I enabled it and rebooted, and now Vista is seeing 4 Gigs. Thanks johnz.
