How to take off the motherboard pins

No and even if it were possible I wouldn't suggest it. Take your mobo out and take everything off before you try that. Needle nose pliars work well if they are the plastic kind of fasteners.
 
You run the risk of slipping and gouging the PCB. Or worse things. That nylon is pretty durable and makes it easy to slip off.. The only tool I would even come close to using would be a pair of 6" bullnose cutters. Even then it might be too big. The head looks like you make the letter c with your hand. But it is wire cutters. It also goes by face cut pliers. Cabinet makers use them to pull nails too.

It is easier to just pull the board, clean it up good and then remove the pins and sink. you will save time and effort. Plus it gives you a good chance to do some spring cleaning. Not just easy, to get the parts off and on.
