My previous super budget memory was very stable at 3.5ghz (2.8 northwood)
I bought Corsair Value Select 2x512mb (PC3200/DDR400) a few months ago. It is barely stable at 3.5Ghz and I am required to adjust default voltages of the cpu and the ram. So I just don't bother overclocking at the moment.
I would like 1X1gig stick at a cheap price that will out perform the Corsair Value Select. I understand the performance reductions from dual channel, but I am thinking about the future of my upgrades. Possibly 2X1gig in the future.
What do you recommend for a 1 gig stick at a resonable price? GBP (£60-70 is budget)
