I keep hearing that I should be getting into or very close to 8000 with a 9800xt in 3DMark03.I cant get any higher then 7490 with my card set to 473/406 and my cpu at 3.51 and my ram at 468Mhz using the 4.2 Cats (Not Omegas) .I looked at the orb and this seems about right but maybe a bit low but what do you guys think?
The rest of my rig specs are in the sig.

that score is pretty nice i'd say but there's always room for improvement. i suggest you try upping your mem clocks

i mean the mem n the vid card.

3Dmark2003 is all about the GPU can u up that anymore ?

not exactly, if your mem is bottlenecking you, your gpu will not be much help. take for exmpple my 9800se 128bit (effectively a 9500pro after softmod). if i up my mem to 300 and my gpu to 475 i get about 4800. if i leave the mem at 300 and up the core to 525 i get around 4875. if i leave the gpu at 475 and up the mem to 305 i get around 4870. (i easily get beaten by people running radeon 9500pro at 430/335).

mem clocks make much more difference than gpu clocks imo (except mother nature, which loves gpu clocks for some reason)
