well, seems my laptop has totally died and at this point it will cost more to repair then replace. but the screen on this thing is beautiful.

the laptop is a Asus G2S-A1.

(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220185 Quick Details for the laptop)

So the question, is it possible to take the laptop screen, and make it work on a PC as DVI od VGA? seems a waste to just throw (or sell) a beautiful screen away without trying to get it to work on something else.

has this ever been done? is it possible that the connectors somehow correlate to DVI at all? and how would i be able to test it? i have experience with basic electronics so im not totally in the dark when it comes to this stuff.

Thanks in advance.
