anybody know of a good reg clean proggy that doesnt rely on os? have a computer that gets bsod when tryin to load os pointing to registry prob :( thanks.
 
what is meesage you are getting pointing to the registry? have you tried to boot in safe mode and so a system restore? Did this just start happening? was anything installed reently? Try to parovide as much info taht got to the point when this started happening\
 
i think it points to programs something or other. safe mode does the same bsod. its not my computer it was dumped on me so i have now clue when or why it happened.
 
Without knowing which OS is installed or what the exact error message is, I'll assume the OS is XP and the error is along the lines of Windows XP could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM...

cool thanks. yeah i found that fix the other day and have been too lazy to complete it. seems kinda long :( ill take a look at the other when i get home. and yeah thats about the error and yes xp :/
