My friend just bought a new laptop and asked me if I could look it over since she felt it was running quite slow. The disk is partitioned 60 gig C: 60 gig D:. Problem is, they are both FAT32 format.

My question is, can I chance the format of her C: from FAT32 to NTFS by right clicking it and formating it? If so, will I lose any data / screw it up? lol, thanks in advance!

This should be in the Windows section. Anyway you do risk data loss but from my experience I have never personally had or heard of a problem. Simply go to CMD and type:
convert X: /fs:ntfs

X is drive letter.
