Likely the BSODs are from the amount of memory your running. Try loosening the memory timings up a bit.

As I said set it to a preset fan speed, you probably won't even notice the fan sound between 50-70%. Mine generally stays between 40-51c.

I'm not sure the extra card would increase as much with your CPU. Although I'm not up to date on AMD's latest FX chips, I would think that chip would be holding your current card back a bit.

2700k 5ghz Cinebench/Superpi/Vantage Runs

Decided to do alittle benching this morning. Here are the results.

Ran the 7970 at 1ghz core, default memory speeds for Vantage... everything else it was on default clocks.

5ghz, 1866mhz...

I decided to see what she would do, looks like 55 multiplier is doable with proper cooling. Booted her into Windows and took a shot, of course this is with 2cores/2threads to keep heat down.
