q8200 @2.3ghz averaging around 4-6k
dual xeon's @3.0ghz averaging 1k or less :rofl:

been doing only one stick of 1gb ddr2 800 ram that i know works and tested well in other systems, wouldnt it show a code if it was the ram? problem is im getting no display what so ever out of any...

updating the bios wont be the problem, booting at all is the problem, all it does is hang on code 90.

i've tried with the q8200 and both a pcie and pci graphics card in every slot with no result....

Thanks for the help, most informative thing I've heard about this board since I started trying to troubleshoot.

Ill see if a different cpu does the job, finding bios won't be fun though.

been folding 24/7 like this :D says 1.48v in cpuz but set to 1.45v in bios.

Abit IP35 Pro and q8200 wont post, hangs on 90

Recently bought a Abit IP35 Pro motherboard which was fairly well rated at its time and the q8200 i already had from and acer.

My problem is it will not post, i press start and everything spins up...

Yep, 1090t is stable at 4.0ghz but its only pulling about 6.5k ppd, ill drop the 6950 client for now and see if it improves.

I bumped the ram to 1.55v and nb to (according to AOD) 1.25v and it seems to be stable!

Thanks for the help guys, guess im just being to conservative with the juice.
Primed it for about 10...

Thanks for the help! the vcore is already at 1.45v should i really add more? and memory is spec'ed at 1.50v. For the ht link i followed dolk's guide which said right around 2400mhz.
