Geez, these are LOUD fans... I haven't seen any official documentation, but my experience with fan headers in general is that you are safe plugging fans in as long as they use less than 5W of power....

This makes no sense to me. If you are dissipating 100W into a room as heat, it won't make a difference if this is done with a slow fan or a fast fan. Some heat will get "banked" in the PSU...

It works fine overclocked and under full load too, so I don't think the PSU is bad. It is supposed to have high efficiency which is why I am wondering why it runs so hot.
