Haven't seen the temp difference between a 6950 flashed to 6970 and a stock 6970. Shouldn't be too big.

Not exactly the cream of the crop. These older OCZ PSUs are known to have out-of-spec ripple issues (ripple suppression) so I would advise you to consider a quality replacement.

Would be interesting to see how well these CPUs perform at higher resolutions. I think its still too early to tell, but soon there will be benchmarks comparing them to the E8XXX, i5, and QXXX CPUs.
