Freddiz man, that thing looks amazing!

Recently came across the 800D and out loud said "no way!" multiple times while looking over the specks. I cant wait to get one to swap my internals into and follow up with some liquidz. Glad a buddy referred me to the site, getting some cool ideas for my next rig.

I have found the best anti kink tubing (even better than tygon) is the high pressure tubing purchased at your local lowes $.98 per LF. It has a layer of criss cross weave inside it. I looks hella better than those smart coils as well.
(See Below)

I'd post mine but I ran into a problem: my old stock of tube is about 18 inches short of what I needed to complete. Plus it's kinking like crazy so I'd have to order new tubes and anti-kink coils. I'm still waiting on my video card so my new PC is still not complete.

Here's mine. I might have to go with a couple of 90's from res to inlet of the pump (kink starting @ pump) Rad is not mounted, I haven't decided where to put it and it works where it is.

Here is my system.
Its also my first WC rig, and thanks to all the OC-members who helped me really appreciate it. Just plain distilled water with a killcoil. HK3.0 nickeled and nickel gpu block, XSPC 480 rad, temps idle 20c to 23c. To bad my pump died on me rma'd it still waiting for the pump:rolleyes:

is it a quick disconnect on the last picture?

Yes it is and very handy in draining your system i have one at the rad as well.
Be sure to buy spare o-rings for the quick release because after 7 to 9 times of disconnecting in my experience it will damage the o-ring. But other then that they work really well.

First watercooled loop.

No "reseratist" comments please ;)

Zalman Reserator 1 V2 with an XSPC RX240 radiator and 2x SFlex fans running at low speed (630rpm -> 840rpm controlled via SpeedFan).

Image shown with Gentle Typhoons, but these have been replaced with S-Flex fans as they were quieter.

Cooling a Phenom 965 C2 (140 TDW) and a 4870 1GB.

Max temps after 3 hours of Prime 95 overclocked to 3.6GHz @ 1.425v, with NB overclocked to 2.4GHz @ 1.2v was 57c.

Current build with A71f case, 360 rad top gt1850 in push and led yates in pull, 280 rad front, all one loop with EK dual top for ddc's.

Thanks OCD-OC, it is a lian li A71f, powder coated black on inside.

I had sleeved fans (easy to remove connectors), and soldered/sleeved some 3 to 1 fan connectors, and although I did sleeve the gpu extensions, it was a royal pain. Ended up destroying the plastic connectors, just had no room to get tool/staple in without stretching them, and patience is not one of my virtues on things like taht. When buying some new plastic connectors saw the sleeved 24 pin extensions at frozen cpu and perfpcs, and realized I will never sleeve another gpu/24pin again...so 24 pin was bought, and had I known 15 mins into trying to sleeve the gpu...would have bought that as well.

wicked setup rge, did you do any heat treatment to the tubing to get the 'sharp' 90's in the tubing?

Thanks Spawn.... no heat, just 3/8 5/8 primochill tubing, the thick walled stuff bends pretty tightly without kinking.

All finished with my first water cooling loop =) Its also the first time I've ever modded my case in any way, even though it is only a new paint job. Unfortunately I accidentally cut into a wire on the lights I put in the case so they are currently not in the case/pictures.

Finished my build finally, pics here...

I finally got this build wrapped up, ran it with two rads and the temps were basically the same, I thought it ended up cleaner with one big rad (XSPC RX420 is working well) I loved the mountain mods case it was so easy to work with!
Hope ya like the pics :)
