From what I've heard, that 2500 would probably be your best bet. The 2600 I just bought from there was an IQZFA the day before the 2500 IQYHA came out...oh well:rolleyes:

But it still might turn out to be a great chip...we'll see!:)

2600+ IQYHA, im currently running at 2672hz (222 x 12) @ 2.0v
i just received IQZFA today, gonna test them when i get new water block tomorrow.
but i bought IQZFA because it's suppose to be better, (newer stepping Z > Y).

oc, definitely list your results.

Candy, said it in another thread, but if anything, it looks like the IQZ's may do a little worse. There's only been a handful of results from them, so it's tough to say. Probably doesn't matter. I'd stick with the IQY to be safe. Either will do good, though.

Btw, save yourself some money and get a 2400+. Same core, different PR is all. It makes no difference. People went with the 2500+ XP-M because that's what they were getting before in the desktop versions and few realized the 2400+ were Barton's. Now everyone follows like lemmings :-/

Update:

AMD XP Mobile 2600 AQZFA XPMW 0347

2200 1.575
2300 1.60
2400 1.65
2534 1.75 (for now)

dude you have strange reasoning

based on what ive seen Z>Y
and 2600-m > 2500-m

so get the IQZFA 2600

From what i've seen, they're basically equal. Some IQZFA 2600's don't go as high as the IQYHA 2500's can, and some 2500's go furthur than the 2600's. It's also been reported that the MPMW chips typically gets to higher OC's than the others, if you believe that, go ahead and spend the extra money for the 2600+. If you look at the results HERE, there really is very little difference from the recent 2600's vs. the 2500's.

It's too bad it doesn't list any more recent 2400's or 2500's though.

So dude, my strange reasoning is the 2500 is cheaper and gives the same overclock. When I bought mine, the 2600 was the only "I" stepping available at excaliber.

IQYHA is what I have in sig ...at a measly 1.83 volts. My issue is with heat by design since I have a near silent system and it's difficult to apply higher Vcore without eclipising 60C.

But it going to be a crap shoot IMO. Good luck.:)
