Can't Remove "My Docs" from Desktop!

How can I get rid of this damn icon? It's called "My Docs". It is not listed as one of the icons to hide when you go into the desktop properties.

Can't rename
Can't move
Can't rmdir in safe mode


Any ideas?

Never seen a "My Doc's" on the desktop, unless you mean "My Documents"

Make sure nothing inside that folder is being used.If it is you cant delete it.Check your taskmanager to make sure

Customize Desktop
Uncheck My Documents

In Win7, Personalize, Change Desktop Icons, Uncheck My Documents

there was a sneaky hidden file in there... had to show all files and system files under options. deleted that file then i could get rid of the folder
