Hi,

is it possible to watercool my processor, graphic card and maybe chipset in my Antec super lanboy??
i have a super lanboy, DFI nf4, opteron 148, x1900xtx.

is it possible? how should i set it up?
what should i get?

sincerely

CPU and VC. are all you really need to cool with water. for the chipset, the preffered replacement cooler for the DFI NF4 is one of these

With that case you could either mount a radiator in the top of the case or on the floor of the case. A 2x120mm radiator would fit in the top and on the floor with no problem. A 3 x 120mm radiator would probably fit on the floor of the case. Remove the bottom 2 HD bays and thats where you could set the pump.
heres some radiators to look at

These are one of the most popular pumps. small, quiet, and great performance

For added performance and ability to use 1/2" tubing you can get a aftermarket top for this pump

Most are going with a filport instead of a Reservoir. Takes up less room and no worries about the Reservoir leaking

Derlin or brass is the best.

I use danger den blocks but swiftech makes some nice blocks also.

Here’s an example of a Super Lanboy watercooled.

From the pictures it’s pretty easy to tell that you’ll never get a double radiator inside the case. It's way too long.

The aluminum sheet used in the Super Lanboy is very thin and flexible. My first bit of advice is to not cut anything apart. That case needs all the structural strength it has.

If you don’t want to use an external radiator, you could put your hard drive in the floppy drive bay, remove the hard drive trays, and you should have enough room to install a radiator and fan in the hard drive area. That’s the only way I can see to setup the radiator inside the case so that it gets cool, outside air. You will have to fabricate a simple mechanism to hold down the radiator/fan assembly.

You can also attach a radiator to the 120mm exhaust fan. Not as good as getting cool air in, but much simplier...just screw it on. You’ll need to get some fan screws to screw the fan to the case. I don’t think those nice rubber fan mounts will be strong enough to hold up a radiator full of water.

As for pump and res, I’m partial to the Swiftech MCRES-1000P, which puts the res and pump in a 5 1/4“ bay. No holes to make and nothing to screw down.

Here's another WC Super Lanboy
