I could swear I heard this was possible but google is failing me and I can't figure out how to do this. Am I mistaken?

I can do it on my z68 MSI board using MSI Control Center. But I bet it would require a reboot. Haven't used it. I just go back to bios because even engaging OC Genie requires reboot. Not sure on your mobo.

I was able to change mine on a socket1366 setup with CPUTweaker, have you tried that?
