Hi guys,

Can anyone please post HD 6670 DDR3/ GDDR5 benchmark results including the individual GPU score for each card (3d mark).

I searched several websites but could not find any GPU score individually for the HD 6670 DDR3.It would be greatly helpful if someone could post that.

Just for comparison purposes.Thanks.

I think it shows the GDDR5 version of the 6670. I am looking for the DDR3 bench results of the HD 6670.

I have a GDDR5 6670! I will give you a real world score based on the rig I have in my signature, instead of some test site, even they are reliable. Logmein'ing my computer now to download 3DMark11 and I'll get back to you shortly!

-Edit-
NVM.

EpicMango - Thanks a lot.Really appreciate it.

EarthDog - Yes :p . Wanted to get some benchs from the users itself, like EpicMango. Exactly what I was looking for. :)

manu2b - HWBot helped. Got only 3 results though --
3DMark Vantage - Performance 4478 marks Radeon HD 6670 GDDR3
3DMark11 - Performance 1594 marks Radeon HD 6670 GDDR3
3DMark11 - Performance 1272 marks Radeon HD 6670 GDDR3

BTW, anyone having an HD 6670 ,please feel free to add your 3d mark benchs also to this thread :)

And there is a big difference in performance between the gddr5 and ddr3 versions of the 6670

3DMark11 - Performance 2479 marks Radeon HD 6670 GDDR5 from hwbot

HWBOT results for gt 440 gddr5 a.k.a the GT 630

3DMark11 - Performance 1639 marks GeForce GT 440 GDDR5 , which somewhat proves that it might be better than the 6670 DDR3. But as is clear from the other reviewers and bench results itspretty clear that the 6670 GDDR5 is the best of this trio.

According to this test, yes! Quite a big difference infact!

I'm wondering why your asking that when you actually answered that same question with the things I posted above. Got all that info from a post YOU made

Testing my GDDR5 6670 now! Reporting shortly!

Earthdog--yes the graphs and stats in my thread from tech2.in may not be the best source but it is very clear from my above posts which show bench results for all the three cards - 6670 ddr3 ,6670gddr5 and gt 630 that :

6670 ddr3 < gt 630 gddr5. / gt 440 gddr5 < 6670 gddr5

The user benchs from different users speak of the same result. If you want, you can. Onfirm it at hwbot. The same conclusion is madeby tomshardware also and that was the reason for me buying the gt630 :)

By any chance, isn't there a clock difference between the 2 versions of the 6670?

manu 2b - Yes there are some slight differences in the memory clock - for the 6670 ddr3 its 500 MHz and for the 6670 gddr5 its 1000 MHz.

Other than that the only difference is the numbers of ROP's - its 8 units for 6670 ddr3 and 16 units for the 6670 gddr5.

That's where at least some of the difference is coming from. I had no idea the difference in cores and thought the performance difference was solely by memory bandwidth.

Makes more sense now.

Hi guys, will finally get hold of my brand new gt630 tomorrow. Planning to install in a day or two. Will post detailed benchmarks and overclocks with pics soon :)

Hi guys . These are my benchmark scores run on my new GT 630 (Other System specs are the same as in my signature)

3D mark Vantage GT 630 OC Run (Core:950 MHz(Stock - 810)/Memory :1600 MHz(Stock - 1550)

3D mark Vantage GT 630 Stock Run (Core: (Stock - 810)/Memory : (Stock - 1550)

3D mark vantage 9400 GT(my old card) OC Run :p

Some points worth mentioning:

My system performance improved a lot.As you can see from the above benchs you can see that my old card 9400 gt even bottlenecked my CPU, a lot.

This card has a GDDR5 memory with only 96 CUDA cores, so overclocking the memory yields absolutely no performance gain in this card. The only parameter that had any effect on OC'ing was the core speed.

I used MSI Afterburner for overclocking.
