I just bought some new hardware. This included a new MB, CPU, RAM, PS, and with this I bought A Geforce 6600GT PCIe video card.
After completing my windows XP installation, rather than install the video driver that came on the CD (66.something?), I just downloaded the latest from nvidia's website (85. something?).
Was this the correct thing to do? Is there a proper video driver for this to make sure I'm getting the best performance from the new PCIe card?

Thanks

Jeff

From what I am reading it seems like you did the right thing. I don't see anything wrong with your choice. I am almost certain someone can second my statement.
