Hi all my ambient temps were 82F when I did these runs but more so I want to say the UD5H is a rock solid board with simple OC and would recomend it. I will be running either DICE or LN2 as well to see what I can get out of it. Also there are screens of the BIOS settings below benching

Specs
Gigabyte Z77X UD5H WB
[email protected] 1.21v draw
Corsair H-100
Team Extreme 2400 LV
7970 stock

Very nice. My 3570K is a horrible overclocker. Needs 1.36v for 4.7. I'll probably order another one from the egg tomorrow

I'm thinking of the UD3H as the price for a UD5H is waaaay out of my budget. But I've got one question;

How fast does the post?? I have a friend with an old P45 Gigabyte board and it goes through bios and then all these other things before Windows will finally load. Where as my current Asus P45 board only has to post, the old BIOS hard drive detection and then that's it.

How fast can you BLINK?

I'm a pretty fast blinker ;)

Then you might catch the pretty little colors for a nano second :) all aside it boots within 15 seconds or so and I like both the UD3H and UD5H the point being Gigabyte has returned in force with very stable boards!!

I should have the G1 Sniper next week I hope and see how the 2x16 fairs....

Turn and Burn, are you gonna test the sniper 3? If so where are you getting your board from? I can't find the sniper 3 in stock anywhere. Newegg does have the M3 in stock though. But I don't want micro atx.

Boards are coming from Gigabyte :) hope to have it this week early!!! I want to see how the 2x16 lanes run.

Seems to be a lot of ppl running the 3770K up to about 5 GHz on water and xtreme cooling I hear cold bugs? I ran on DICE and manage 5.7 stable, I did post on my UD3H thread that above 68c I was running into a CB on and off, as long as I didnt get into a freeze screen, not a issue but if you do or like I did I would have to scrapo the OC and start from 4.5 working back up just a FYI if your having issues with LN2 ect.

I will be going LN2 Thursday or Friday try to run stable 6GHz up.

I'm planning on running a setup like this (UD5H + 3770k + H100)... My question is whether this chip is special or should all 3770ks handle like this? I'm still undecided whether to get a 3770k or a 2700k...

Whats the limit if I want to keep it running for a few more years? :D

Too much voltage will degrade the cpu or is it only heat that cause the degradation? (By degradation I mean loss of life expectancy)
