does anyone know how to loosen items bonded with JB Weld? physical force is all i can think of but i am wondering if there is a solvent that will "undo" the JB Weld bond. thanks.

Sanding or grinding it down works very well. The "high speed cutter" bits for the dremel go through it like a hot knife through butter. I've also found that it is easy to chip away with a chisel (although this seems to be the only tool you can do this with.) I don't know of any solvents that work, although my coolant has an uncanny ability to find a way through it.

thanks for the tips, BBigJ.
and i know what you mean about the water/coolant.:)
