I am Desperat now I need to get this thin running.

When I install Win98 on this P75 I loose CD-rom after reboot in install. But the CD-rom is fine when booting from Bootdisk.

I know that I had a disk for many years ago that fixed this but, I have lost that disk and he who made it is not avaible for me any more since I cannot find him.
Help get CD-rom in win98 working.

What brand CD-Rom is it?

You'll need to find drivers for it.. try the manufacturer's website..
It must be a really old/awkward CD-Rom.. you can pick up a new CD-Rom really cheap nowadays... even used ones cost next to nothing..

You should try swapping in another drive to complete the 98 install, then swap it back & try to load drivers when the 98 kernel is completely booted.

its a sony but it can be sixed with the WinMe bootdisk. But I don´t remember how.
