Had a request for a poll on this and thought it would be interesting enough to see what everyone has running through their chips.

What I'd also like to know is what CPU speed you were able to reach, the motherboard or chipset used as well as if any volt modding was done to reach your VCore or if your voltage was adjustable via the BIOS.

If your exact voltage isn't listed, then just list it in your post...we're just getting an estimated average of what our forum members are using via the poll.

Let's see what you got!

Thanks go to {PMS}fishy for the poll idea!

1.85v. No volt mod, since I have no experience w/ soldering stuff and I don't want my motherboard to be the first victim of many after I get my hand on that gun. Well I don't know what it was going to gain since I jumped on 1.85v right away.

Great Poll.

Dang, you beat me for first post.

Volt Modded 2.05v on Epox 8KHA+

Max O/C before v-mod 1743mhz

After v-mod 1930mhz

I got my Athlon XP 1600+ @ 1.650v. Its at 1.50GHz now, but I'm going to try to unlock the multipliers tonight. Its idling well now, at about 37C. Used to be 44C!!! I lowered the core to help the heating. I'm also going to get a case fan and make me a blow hole tonight I hope. Any ideas on better air cooling methods?

a better heat sink , or maybe just lapping that 6cu+

every 6cu HSF fan ive seen needed lapping

and your useing artic silver II / III ?

My old xp1600 hardly overclocks, so I just put it to 140fsb and put the voltage as low as it will go on my 8kha+...

xp1900+ @ 9.5xmult. with 166fsb. using 1.75v. running great. i want to jump to 10x but not sure about raising volts. seems everytime i did hangs and crashes followed it. or maybe it is me choosing wrong combos. oh well, default 1.75v is where i am at.

i'm at 1.85v running 10.5*152 (1602mhz) but thats rock hard stable. ive been over 1700, but its kinda pointless because it isnt stable. Antec PP-352X psu (350w). KR7A-133R. 512mb Cheapo (Newtrend tech) triple2 2100ddr. 1700+ AGOGA 9 0205

Back to default. PSU has been a PITA with lots of power off the vcore since it always brings down the 5v. I lost about 6fsb, but that's a good giveaway for stablity.

stable @ 1.75 (default) - 148 x 10.5 = 1554MHz

stable @ 1.85 - 180 x 10 = 1800MHz

XP1600+ AROIA "Y"

1.85v until I can finally get fittings on my waterblock, then 2.1v here I come!
