Hi again everyone,

I am thinking of putting a peltier on my pIII-850 Coppermine FCPGA, I wonder what sort I should get, ie plate size, and wattage. I dont want a crazily high powered one, I just wanna keep my temps at below 30 C and I will be happy. Any advice, and places online where I might pick one up would be of great assistance. Thanks guys.

Chapsat, find my answer to this vary question under the following topic:

If you want to buy a stand alone peltier, just the peltier element, then head on over to http://www.tedist.com and pick yourself up a nice POTTED peltier. For a P3 850, you may want to go with an ICE-71 which has the ability to pump 80w -- on 16V that is. On 12V, I estimate the ICE-71 will give you 60w.

Now for the big problem, condensation! Have you prepared yourself for this? The best condensation articles that I have ran across would be ones found at http://www.octools.com ..

Have fun!
