virtual memory problem

This just happened all of a sudden. I restarted my computer (win2k pro OS) and when it came into windows I got a error message that said no paging file system or is too small, windows is creating a temperory directory, to change this......

So i go and set my virtiual memory back to 1024 min and 1152 max, it says to restart so i do...then same message comes up i've tried 3 or 4 times it just doens't commit the changes...what's wrong here? I got SP2 and all the fixes and what nots....

thanks a lot, I took away rights from the "everyone" group and gave administrator control....figured logging in as admin would cause everyhtin to be normal and just mroe secure...oh well. Thanks again
