Best setting for a 19'inch monitor

like whats the best resolution to use? 16-bit, 32-bit color, etc

I like to use 1152 x 864 on my 19 inch monitor. The color depth will depend on the frame rate your are trying to obtain. A lower color depth (16 bit instead of 32 bit) with less eye candy in the game your are playing will give you a higher frame rate.

I run 1600xXXX whatever that other # is.. 1248 or something I think.. at I believe 80mhz refresh*would have to check* and it looks great..

Running LiteStep with 4 virtual desktops.. plenty of room for different windows..

I got webpages on 1 desktop... seti and my temp monitor on another, graphics on a third and whatever other thing I happen to be running hopping around between them all
