Promise FastTrak TX2 LEDs?

I am wanting to connect a couple of LEDs to the indicator outputs from my Promise FastTrak TX2 adapter. I have used the HDD led on my case to verify what the polarity is for these 4 leads and which pair goes with which port. It appears to me that I can run standard LEDs off these leads. Can I connect these leads directly to LEDs or do I need a small resister to reduce current flow?

No, if it should already be putting out the correct voltage for LED's to run off of.
