MS releases SP1 early

Microsoft has released the Xp SP1 for download.
2 days early. I might add.

WHOA! That thing is 133mb!?? I feel for the people on dial-up hehe. So is this for sure the "final" release of Sp1? Or is this still a "beta" because if it is the final, real thing i'll go ahead and install it and see what it skrews up hehe

yes that is the final release, although its not "officially" out (even though its on microsofts on website DUH

). It was on their site 5 days ago already, but have put it up again today.

I'm downloading it just in case I get that $40 XPpro CD from M$.

My fat pipe should get it in 11 minutes.

If you think thats big, try Linux distro ISOs.
