Athlon XPs as MPs "some of the time"?

Hey all,

I did the L5 bridge trick, and it worked great. However, I just booted up my computer and it said I had one XP, and that my comp would run in single blah blah

So I pressed reset, then it detected 2 MPs again...ideas? Is this normal?

Thats weird,But with any unlocking job you can get strange things going on if the contacts are not perfect.I would redo the bridges...

Try to re-install your OS again.. it might helps
just got my A7m266D working with two xp1800.
got the same problem just like yours..

Same problem with a newly built computer. I can correct the problem reliably by dropping them to the default multiplier, then overclocking again.

P.S. sometimes, mine thinks I have only one MP....
