Yeah, that's REALLY good.... But what is your average?

CpF stands for Cycles Per Flop. Basically, from this number you can see how efficiently SETI is crunching. And if you want to go through enough math, you can even turn this value into an expected WU time (though SETISpy already does that for you thankfully!).

and it keeps getting lower... 2.17 cpf now... and 213 mFlops per sec

The processing efficiency number (in Cycles / FLOP) tells you how many processor cycles are used to calculate one FLoating Point OPeration, or FLOP. The lower this number, the more efficient is your processor. The peak efficiency of your processor depends on a number of factors, including:

Floating Point Unit design.
Cache size and cache speed.
CPU multiplier.
Memory size and latency
Operating system.

I dunno what FPU Design is...
Cache Size and Speed? 466Mhz CPU and 133Mhz FSB
Multiplier is 3.5
256MB of PC-133 with CAS 2-2-3 settings
Windows XP Pro
 
To have a better comparisson you need to change the number in the bottom of that screen. You need to change it to 3.5 to get the real numbers of the database.

This Cycles Per Flop (Floating Point Operation) is greattly improved by your memory subsystem. If you are running with a CAS222 memory it will be lower than the one shown by SETISpy.
