How hot does your chip and that big blue resistor get? Both of mine get hot enough to BURN my finger.
The chip is at stock speed, and stock(crappy) cooling. The backside of the card gets hot enough to actually burn my figner. There is also a large blue resistor that also is hot enough to burn fingers. By "burn", I mean lingering pain .
I slapped a 80mm fan over the stock heatsink/fan & resistor for now...
It's most likely out of warranty (I have to check), since it's been sitting here for a year waiting for an Intel chipset mobo to finally work on(didn't work on any of my Abit AMD/Via boards).
Does any of your cards get this hot with the stock cooling? I know I can upgrade the cooling but this seems a bit TOO hot for a stock card.
