Volcano 9 mod'n

Hey, my mobo and epox 8k3ae, i have read on the boards that the Thermaltake Volcano 9 does not fit on it w/o modding it. before im gonna buy it, id like to know what you really need to do to sucessfully mod it to fit over the cpu?

dude, i am looking at your board right now from the pic on the site. i think it is safe to say you WILL or might have issues with the V9 hanging over. that memory slot is close but i am really worried about resistors and or capacitors on the other side. if anything, it will be very tight. i have the V9. i first mounted it on an ecs board and things were tight when i had to remove the hs to do some work. that epox board is more rectangular.
