Just a heads up to anyone who might have a prob with their Kenwood 72x TrueX CD Rom.
Mine hasn't worked for a while When I put together my P4 1.6A system I decided to give it another shot. It didn't work at first and I decided to take a better look at it.
It came with one of those soft rubber jumpers on the MS/SL/CS header. I don't know why, but it bugged me, I took it off and put a regular jumper on - the plastic ones where you can actually SEE the metal contacts. IT WORKED
I did this about 2 weeks ago, but figured I'd post it for anyone with these drives or those same rubber jumpers.
