dunno if anyone has seen the new 8INXP board but it has this funky thing on called a Dual Power Voltage Regulator module...im just wondering if anyone happens to know a few things about it, from what I have read it appears to just keep lines stable throughout the motherboard.

but,

whats the slot called it goes into?
is there anything more it does?
and
are P4s REALLY that power hungry?

can someone at least explain the difference between - now I might get this wrong...a 6phase pass over a 3phase pass...

I vaguely remember it going on about that helping :)
