hey guys i got me an msi kt3ultra 2 and xp2000 and the darn thing will only post at 100 mhz fsb. when i change it in the bios and exit and save no post and i have to clear the cmos and start over. anyone had this problem before and perhaps a fix? this is the second board that has done this too. the other was an ECS k7s5a and yes the power supply works fine. any and all ideas appreciated. thanx. :)

no jumper to change it. it says in the manual to use the bios to change the frequency settings.

if the ram is set to 133Mhz but the FSB is at 100Mhz when you try to raise the FSB to 133Mhz your actually pushing the ram to 166Mhz. try setting the ram to 100Mhz.

that make sense? i almost lost myself there.
