all you xp1800 tbred owners...i have a question

alright, i have an alpha pal 8045, as you can see in my sig with the 84 cfm sunon...if i get one of these chips, will i be able to sufficiently cool it, and overclock it? what are your temps for air cooling...my temps stay around 35c with my xp at 1.92ghz....but what about these tbreds

My standard watercooling setup is only 2C cooler under full load than the AX-7 with a smart fan 2.

Watercooling was a "quieter" means for me, not necessarily a "cooler" one.

The answer to your question is "yes, it will be enough to cool the processor".

think i could reach 2ghz with an unlocked chip and my setup?

I'm sure you'd be able to. The Alpha isn't the best heatsink anymore, but it's still in the top 3 or so.
