Get my AIUGA 0241 from Fly's deal with ESC board for 99 bucks. Now ESC board is sold, but this chip can't hit 2.0ghz on Asus A7V333. Now, is anyone have this 41 weeks chip that reach 2.0ghz? or It is only me alone? Help help.....................................

Is that the 1700tbred? I bought one yesterday. Out of the box it did 166 x 11 @ 1.7v stable. Currenty using 170 x 12 = 2040 @ 1.95v on KX7 volt modded. Burning it some more. I'm hoping to get xp2600+ status @ 2.08ghz /w 2.1v(my pally 1600 does those speeds).

I'll post a 14k score once the weather freezes a bit more over here. Again, that's an AIUGA 0241

SUPER Palomino 1600 @ 2600xp status
2.1.GIF
Stable @ 2070mhz /w 2.1v

And of course, this is a lot easier using water :D

Good luck /w urs. I suggest you burn it some more.

Yes yes BURNIN.

Mine WOULD NOT go above 1826 when I got it.

I was told to burnin.

Burnt in with prime95 one day.

Still would not even do 1827.

Burnt in another day

Now Im at 1881 rock solid (for 7 hrs thus far.)

Gonna burn in until right before I go to bed then try 1892... of course I'm right around my rams limits so I've got to take it easy.

And I believe they had theirs on a kx7-333/r same as me.

Yeah, yeah... Lucky people get the 42 week and so on could reach 2.0Ghz easily.

Lithan: What's Voltage do you have it on?

1.725 and 1870 now... Crashed after ten hours at 1881 (which was 1.75 volts)

I could probably get around the same results as the guy above if I pushed 2.1v into it, but thats way too much for regular use in my opinion.

Alot of folks can get 2ghz with 1.75 or less with the 1800+ I regret buying the 1700+.

Lithan, yeh, I know what you mean. I too regret buying the 1700 instead of the 1800. I just couldn't WAIT! :)

I'm going to wait ti'll the 'B' rev. for the 1800+ comes out.. I can wait for that.

As far as the aiuga 0241 steppings go, I managed to get 2046mhz stable @ 1.95v(8hrs of toast, and 3dmark loop). I might have to do the '1.85v' mod on the cpu to access higher voltages through the bios(if I do, I can pump out 2.1v on the cpu). I'm hoping I can beat my previous overclock of + 700mhz, but so far it's looking a tad dim :(

For everyday use 12 x 166 ULTRA @ 1.85v should suffice for now. :)
For benching I have yet to try 204 x 10, perhaps tomm. temps while folding are 28c case, 38c load while folding(room temp 27c).

For a 70$ cpu, it isn't so bad especially if you can get 2400+ status.

BioS,
I suggest you visit www.xtremesystems.org to find out how to do the '1.85v' mod so you'll have access to 1.85v through your bios.

and by the way, I'm using an Abit KX7-333 volt modded. :)

Thanks, i'll try to mod that way. Now question is, if i mod that L11 bright to 1.85 voltage, can i able to set the votlage between 1.50 to 1.80 in bios? Any idea that will help.

If this is stable I'm likely staying here (assuming I dont get any more gains from burning in)... At least until I get faster ram... then I may voltage unlock and run it at 180x11 (I'm hoping I can get that at 1.85 or less) And MAYBE try 1.90 or 1.95 and 180x11.5 but that'd just be to burn in for 24 hours and brag that I'd done the 2ghz. I wouldn't run this chip at that voltage in normal operation.

Mine will not do 180 x 11.5 stable at any voltage :(

I found that the best setting for this cpu is 166 x 11 = 1826mhz @ 1.65v.

For some reason I had to jack up my voltages to attain a 2ghz overclock -> 1.95v instead of my previous 1.85v. Kinda weird.
I'm not liking this cpu one bit! I thought I'd be able to bench 200 x 10.5 at least. I think it's time to get the tbred1800. :)
