Anyone got around the same specs and can tell me what length round IDE's they use? I have a Western Digital 800JB, question is, could I use SATA cable for it?
Thanks.
(I would measure it but my case and board hasn't arrived yet ;)

you can use sata for any drive. you just need to buy an adapter for the drive unless it is sata capable. i don't think there are too many sata drives, so you'll probably need an adapter. at directron, they have them (used a link from NWEng)

it's expensive though and is kinda big. as for the cable lengths, 18" should be fine in most cases... you might need a 24" for the top bays though. i have a chieftec that isn't really a huge full size tower and my cables will barely reach... the 24" would be fine i would imagine. if there is extra cable, just tuck it behind the drive bays or if you have too much, just tuck it into an empty drive bay. i would personally get a 24" for the top 2 bays and a 18" for the hard drive(s) just to play it safe.
