driver help

ive got a rage pro turbo in my system, and have this GF2 MX card here... so ive descided to try again to install it, since before i was unsuccesful ... and i still dont know why... hoping that this will be my luckey day... but now im trying to uninstall my ATI drivers and when i try to remove them in the add/remove i get an error " unable to uninstall older or non-ATI display drivers" can anyone help me out here? i dont want to format pc, just looking for a way to get rid of these drivers.. and im using windows XP pro

would removing it in safe mode maybe work? ill try it anyways
