Anyone ever tried this pump???

Nope. I need to get done with my 2nd quarter classes before I spend time setting it up.

The plastic on the cover is pretty brittle. The box doesn't say "Pondmaster" anywhere on it. I think I'll need silicone sealent, because there's only a plastic on plastic seal around the cover.

I think i'll be going with the mag 3 over the mag 5, there the same size(dimensions), but the mag 3 uses 10 less watts. I'll be sure to apply some silcone to it as well......

What do you all think about 350gph instead of 500gph?

I think the Mag3 is probably a good choice.
