I have been thinkin that I just wasn't getting enuf air flo
over / accross my rad for cooling the H20.
So I went lookin & found a matching 120mm & installed it.

Did a cool job of mod'n the shroud...
gave it a venturi, pullin air into the rad, to also aid
in air flow. Total CFM= 216 :D

Now it sounds like a B-52 Jet engine instead of a 747.

Still on a rehostat, No better load temps.
Get back down to idle temps faster tho.

Guess I gotta go get a shuvit HC & better block& pump.....
$16.99 special order.... :p

39C idle & 49-50C load @ 1.82v
27-30C mobo temp.

What water block u using..
I really think u should change the pump/water block.. and so on..
my friend has a athlon xp 1600+..
he has a volcano 6. get around 33 degrees..

33C ?... I had an Alpha PEP 66T on there and
was getting 37 Load.
[now on my 2nd sys]

The H20 block is a open block design from Swiftech.
inlet/outlet and a BIG hollow void inside.
(nothing inside- no channels, pins.....nothing)

But I got the system complete for $40.oo USD.

So now I guess I get to revamp everything correctly.

Hmmm..... just had a thought....
(Danger Will Robinson Danger....)

Use my exsisting block for a NB cooler
& get a better 1 for the CPU...

EDIT: I was gonna add a link so u
could see my H20 block @ Swiftech,
But I now see they don't even list it NE more.
Must be because IT SUKT SO BAD!!!!
they don't make it NE more !

You mean its not this one? nikhsub1 says that his was about on par with the Danger Den Maze 3 and D-Tek TC-4 as far as cooling.:) Looks like you need a heater core,:D:D:D

Nope, not that 1. will post a pic L8R on when I get home.

but I do have thier Ehiem 1048 pump & thier Rad. :(

It's not the "best" pic. But inside it is open.
Nothing to it. Copper base, Alu body/ top.
Inlet & an outlet w/ 3/8" barbs.

Yup, time for a newer H20 block & HC time.

Like they said: It's a "BareBones" System.
Not real bad for a beginner into H20.
Definately not for the extream OC'er.
This setup is on par with a decent Air setup.
-Same temps I was getting on air.
:bang head

I only paid $40.oo for the whole system here.
Ehiem 1048 pump, Rad, Block, Hose, Pretty box......
I spent another $25 on 2 120mm 108cfm fans.
& about $10.oo on new hose and true 3/8" fittings.
Had 5/16" B-4.
