disadvantages: - PITA to route it (bends, etc), doesn't look that great, and you needa ghetto-rig it to work with barbed fittings

just not worth it to use all copper... its not like it'll help passively dissipate heat in any major way

Well, I just bought some ClearFlex 60 (6 feet) for my first WC setup, so... I use Clearflex 60.
 
Watts clear vinyl from home depot
to help to stop it kinking just run hot water in it (with the PC off of couse)
the pipe gose nice n soft and will bend easly once it cools it takes the form of the bend
