so would i be correct in saying that blowing the 5th L3 bridge on a tbredB 2100+ I will get +8 to any multiplier I choose in my bios? (A7V133)

ONLY if "your" mobo/bios/?northbridge? co-operate.
And then only adds 8X to 5X, 5.5X, 6X, 7X, 8X, 8.5X, and 9X settings, because of the nature of AMD's Multiplier Code.

6.5X + 8X = 14.5X = Reserved, might not boot.
7.5X + 8X = 15.5X = Reserved, has Remapped to 22X.
9.5X + 8X = 17.5X is Remapped to 18X.
10X + 8X = 18X = Reserved, has Remapped to 23X.
10.5X + 8X = 18.5X = Reserved, has Remapped to 24X.
11X + 8X = 3X = Mobile CPU code, no boot??
11.5X + 8X = 3.5X = Mobile, has Remapped to 19X.
12X + 8X = 4X = Mobile CPU code, no boot??
12.5X + 8X = 4.5X = Mobile, has Remapped to 20X.

http://www.beachlink.com/candjac/index.htm link to Multiplier Code and Tbred articles which "explain".
Overclocking is not a bed of roses.;-)

Isnt the last L3 on the Tbred 2100+ open already as the default multi is 13 hence the 8x is set to high already?

It was on my mobo, unlocked and set to higher multipliers.should be on others as well.

Yes you're right, but we ignored that...focused on the +8X question since most people assume ALL 5X-12.5X settings get 8X more...and like "Buttercup" in Pirates of Penzance?? sang, "All that glisters is not gold".;-)
